Uno Lavoz Calls Out Cortez to Battle on Smack/URL (Video)
VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes, caught up with Uno Lavoz following his battle vs. Young X on Smack/URL's "The Warm Up" event, the day before the highly anticipated Summer Madness 4.
Uno put on what was most likely the best performance of his entire career vs. Young X in this clash, and spoke highly of his dreams of being featured on one of the Smack/URL Summer Madness cards in the near future. Uno addressed his creativity in the battle, as well as his brief choke, and how he was able to recover from it and finish strong due to his lengthy experience in the sport of Battle Rap. Despite being in the current PG roster, Uno doesn't view himself as a PG rapper and thinks that his years of experience battling in front of large crowds all over the world will set him apart from the rest of the rising talents on the Smack/URL brand.
Hughes also caught up with Young X after the battle and got him to share his own recap of his performance. One thing that was clear is that Young X didn't get nearly as much crowd reaction during the battle, and he believes that his accent made it difficult for fans to understand what he was saying in the building. X believes that once the footage drops, the fans will judge the battle more in his favor than they were live in the building. He also spoke on the rise of Battle Rappers coming from the South, and how he will continue to work as hard as possible to put on great performances in the future.

Cassidy: I Don't Want to See Drake or Jay-Z Battle (Video)
Cassidy shared his thoughts on the possibility of other high profile industry artists battling, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.
Cassidy began by addressing Lil Wayne's admission that he doesn't know how to Battle Rap. Cassidy respected Wayne's honesty, and stated that not everybody has be be a battler. When asked about his interests in seeing big mainstream artists battle - such as Drake, Jay Z, and others - Cas denied having any anticipation of seeing those types of battles happen at all. He believes that their minds are in such a different place musically, that if they battled it wouldn't transition well to the combative lyrical format.
He concluded by assuring his fans that he will be coming to put Dizaster in a bodybag when they battle on December 6th, and that he doesn't want to hear anyone make excuses for Dizaster's loss after the battle is done.
Would you like to see big name artists such as Drake, Jay Z, and others step into the lyrical ring?

Cassidy: Admit It or Not, Battlers Look Up to Me (Video)
In this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV, Cassidy addressed the criticisms that many Battle Rap fans have been expressing about his rapping style being "old" or "outdated."
Cassidy thinks that anyone who believes that is "stupid," and he went on to explain why he is going to put in work against Dizaster. Cass broke down how rap styles evolved with a greater variety of wordplay over the years, and how his use of intricate punchline wordplay served as inspiration for every existing Battle Rapper today whether they want to admit it or not.
In the past, Cassidy has been able to craft well-respected response songs to the likes of Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse, or Nicki Minaj's "Lookin' As* Ni**a," among others, within 24-48 hours. Since he has so much time to prepare for his battle with Dizaster, he doesn't understand how people are doubting him because he believes that he'll be able to create some incredible battle verses. According to Cassidy, his battle with Dizaster will "change the game," and "go down in history."
