Philly Rundown, was a song put together to promote unity amongst all artists from the city of Philadelphia. “Philly Rundown” features Known, E. Ness, Quilly Millz, Hollowman, Chic Raw, Pusha Feek, Ar-Ab, Peedi Crakk, Chinko Da Great, Kre Forch, Joey Jihad, Spade-O, Garci, Reed Dollaz and it was produced by Sarom. The song was put together by Known (Known Records) to overcome all stereotypes that the city has about all artists being crabs in the barrel. This is a classical and monumental moment for Philadelphia that can be marked in the history books of the underground world of hip hop in Philly. All artists that were on the record were even amazed that a record like this can be possible to make happen and were even more motivated to be part of this project. Due to length and time frame of the song unfortunately we were unable to get everyone on the track, but we look forward to continue to reach out to artists and bring people together one by one.

Jill Scott is in town this week to promote her new film, Baggage Claim (September 27th). She kicked it with Cipha and Rosenberg for nearly an hour and discussed her career, The Roots, Peedi Crakk, Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, and a bunch of stuff in between.

While stopping in D.C. for one of the three MMG Self Made 3 Release Concerts yesterday, Meek Mill gave the area folks a nice surprise by bringing out Shy Glizzy to perform "Money Problems." Meek also performs "Ooh Kill Em," his response to Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse.

Summer Madness 3 was the probably the most anticipated rap battle of well the summer, unfortunately it did end up becoming one of the most talked about events of the season but for all the wrong reasons. During the main attraction battle where Serius Jones and opponent Math Hoffa went bar for bar, Hoffa’s dehydration, liquid courage, and pride caused him to deliver an unnecessary right hook to Jones jaw.
