With DJ Mustard on the beat, YG recalls hearing the instrumental for the first time and penning the lines to his now platinum record.
"I had the idea though for the song a couple months before," the Compton-bred MC said. "Mustard played me the beat and I just had something and it came to me just like that. Then I went to Atlanta told Rich Homie Quan the idea then all three of us were going back and forth in the studio on the hook and we let Rich Homie Quan record it."
